Please read these terms carefully before making a purchase or booking a service.
The Magickal Appalachian offers handcrafted spiritual goods, ritual tools, curios, books, digital products, consultations, readings, spellwork, and related items rooted in Appalachian folk practice, spirit work, and traditional magical frameworks.
All products and services are offered for personal, spiritual, educational, symbolic, or entertainment purposes only.
By using this site or making a purchase, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have permission from a legal guardian.
1. Spiritual & Metaphysical Disclaimer
All spiritual, magical, metaphysical, divination, folk-practice, ritual, spellwork, or energy-based products and services offered by The Magickal Appalachian are provided without any guarantee of results.
Results vary from person to person. Outcomes may depend on many factors beyond my control, including personal belief, timing, spiritual resistance, free will, real-world circumstances, and the choices and actions of all people involved.
The Magickal Appalachian makes no promises, guarantees, or warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the effectiveness, outcome, timing, or results of any product, reading, consultation, ritual, spellwork, or spiritual service.
Nothing sold or offered by The Magickal Appalachian is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical, psychological, legal, financial, or physical condition.
Products, readings, consultations, digital materials, and spiritual services are not a substitute for professional medical care, mental health care, legal advice, financial advice, emergency services, or other licensed professional support.
If you are in danger, being threatened, stalked, abused, harmed, or facing an emergency, please seek appropriate real-world help immediately.
2. Personal Responsibility
By purchasing from The Magickal Appalachian, you acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for your own choices, actions, and decisions.
You are solely responsible for how you use any product, information, reading, consultation, digital material, ritual tool, or spiritual service.
All items and services are intended for personal, ritual, spiritual, educational, symbolic, or entertainment purposes only.
The Magickal Appalachian is not responsible for misuse, improper handling, unsafe use, unrealistic expectations, or unintended consequences resulting from product or service use.
Use of all products and services is at the customer’s own discretion and risk.
Spiritual work is not a replacement for grounded real-world action. Clients are expected to do their part when appropriate, including making safe choices, following practical guidance, respecting boundaries, and seeking professional help when needed.
3. No Illegal Use or Real-World Harm
The Magickal Appalachian does not condone, encourage, or promote illegal activity, harassment, stalking, threats, violence, abuse, coercion, or real-world harm.
Products and services associated with protection, banishing, reversal, justice, return-to-sender, hexing, cursing, binding, domination, or other traditional folk practices are offered as spiritual, symbolic, energetic, or ritual services only.
By purchasing, booking, or using any product or service from The Magickal Appalachian, you agree not to use it for unlawful purposes or to cause physical harm.
4. Right to Refuse Service
The Magickal Appalachian reserves the right to refuse, cancel, decline, or discontinue any order, service, consultation, reading, spellwork, custom request, or communication at my discretion.
I may refuse service for reasons including, but not limited to:
Requests that feel unsafe, unethical, unjustified, or spiritually inappropriate
Requests involving illegal activity, threats, stalking, harassment, or real-world harm
Requests involving minors in inappropriate contexts
Requests that require medical, legal, mental health, financial, or emergency professional support
Abusive, threatening, manipulative, or disrespectful communication
Repeated boundary violations
Attempts to pressure, rush, demand guaranteed results, or control the outcome of spiritual work
Situations where I do not feel I am the right practitioner for the work
If I decline a service before any work has begun, I may issue a refund at my discretion.
If work has already begun or time, materials, preparation, spiritual labor, or energy have already been committed, a refund may not be available.
5. Orders & Payments
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Payment must be received in full before any physical order is processed, digital product is delivered, consultation is booked, reading is performed, or spellwork begins.
The Magickal Appalachian reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order at my discretion.
Custom, made-to-order, handmade, spiritual, ritual, or service-based offerings may require additional processing time.
Please make sure your contact information, shipping address, email address, booking details, and service information are accurate before submitting your order.
6. Physical Products
Physical products may include, but are not limited to:
Candles
Oils
Powders
Herbs
Ritual tools
Curios
Charms
Bones, roots, stones, or natural materials
Books and physical media
Printed materials
Handmade spiritual goods
Due to the personal, spiritual, handmade, and ritual nature of these items, all physical product sales are generally final.
Returns are not accepted on opened, used, altered, handled, burned, dressed, anointed, damaged-after-delivery, or spiritually worked items.
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact me within 5 days of delivery with clear photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label so I can review the issue.
7. Books & Physical Media
Books, journals, printed materials, and other physical media are sold as physical products.
Refunds or replacements may be considered only if the item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.
I do not offer refunds for buyer’s remorse, accidental orders, failure to read the listing, personal disagreement with the contents, or change of mind after purchase.
Signed, personalized, used, altered, or damaged-after-delivery books are not eligible for return or refund.
8. Digital Products & Downloads
Digital products may include, but are not limited to:
Ebooks
PDFs
Digital journals
Printable pages
Downloadable guides
Digital worksheets
Ritual instructions
Classes, lessons, or digital educational materials
Due to the instant-access nature of digital products, all digital sales are final once the file, link, download, or content has been delivered or accessed.
Digital products are non-refundable except in cases of duplicate purchase, technical error, or another issue I determine requires correction.
Digital products are for personal use only.
Digital products may not be copied, resold, redistributed, uploaded, shared publicly, taught from, repackaged, altered for resale, or used commercially without written permission from The Magickal Appalachian.
9. Spiritual Services & Spellwork
Spiritual services may include, but are not limited to:
Cord cutting
Justice work
Return-to-sender work
Protection work
Road opening
Cleansing or uncrossing
Banishing
Binding
Hexing or cursing work
Candle work
Custom spellwork
Ritual services performed on behalf of a client
Spiritual services are not physical products unless explicitly stated. Nothing will be shipped for service-only purchases.
Once spiritual work has begun, the service is non-refundable. This includes preparation, petition work, candle preparation, ritual setup, ingredient use, spiritual labor, divination, prayer, energetic work, or any other work performed on the client’s behalf.
Results are not guaranteed. No specific outcome, timeline, emotional response, legal result, financial result, relationship result, punishment, reconciliation, exposure, protection outcome, or physical-world event is promised.
I reserve the right to decline any spellwork request that does not feel appropriate, justified, safe, or aligned.
10. Justice, Return-to-Sender, Hexing & Curse Work
Some services offered by The Magickal Appalachian may involve justice, return-to-sender, consequence, reversal, hexing, cursing, or similar traditional folk practices.
These services are serious spiritual work and are not intended for petty, impulsive, jealous, dishonest, or unjustified situations.
By purchasing justice, return-to-sender, hexing, curse, or consequence work, you confirm that:
You believe the work is justified.
You have provided truthful information to the best of your ability.
You understand that spiritual justice work carries weight.
You accept responsibility for requesting the work.
You understand that results are not guaranteed.
You understand that I may decline the work if it does not feel appropriate.
If you knowingly provide false, exaggerated, or misleading information, you are responsible for the spiritual and practical consequences of that request.
11. Tarot Readings, Divination & Spiritual Guidance
Tarot readings, oracle readings, divination, spiritual guidance, and intuitive services are offered for personal insight, spiritual reflection, and entertainment purposes only.
Readings do not predict fixed, guaranteed, or unavoidable outcomes.
Readings are not a substitute for medical, mental health, legal, financial, or professional advice.
I reserve the right to decline questions or topics that feel inappropriate, unsafe, invasive, unethical, or outside the scope of my practice.
Once a reading has been completed, delivered, or begun, it is non-refundable.
12. Consultations & Appointments
Consultations may include spiritual guidance, folk magic advice, spellwork direction, product guidance, ritual support, or discussion of one focused subject.
Consultations are limited to the time, format, and subject stated in the service listing.
For Hearthside Consultations:
The session is limited to one subject.
The session is limited to the scheduled time.
The session is held through Google Meet unless otherwise stated.
Payment is required at booking.
Clients are expected to arrive on time and prepared.
Late arrival may reduce the available session time.
Missed appointments are considered used and are non-refundable.
You may cancel or reschedule a consultation for a full refund up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
Cancellations, reschedule requests, missed appointments, late arrivals, or no-shows less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time are non-refundable.
This policy allows clients to cancel if they find their own answer or no longer need the session, while also respecting the time reserved for the appointment.
13. Refunds, Returns & Exceptions
Because of the personal, spiritual, handmade, digital, and service-based nature of this work, most sales are final.
Refunds are generally not offered for:
Buyer’s remorse
Change of mind
Failure to read the listing
Dissatisfaction with spiritual results
Lack of guaranteed outcome
Completed readings
Completed consultations
Spellwork that has already begun
Digital products that have been delivered or accessed
Opened, used, altered, or spiritually worked physical products
That said, I understand that unusual situations can happen.
The Magickal Appalachian reserves the right to make exceptions on a case-by-case basis when I believe it is appropriate.
Possible exceptions may include:
Incorrect item received
Item damaged in transit
Duplicate order
Technical issue with a digital product
Service declined before work begins
Other circumstances reviewed and approved at my discretion
Any exception is voluntary and does not guarantee future exceptions.
14. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping times are estimates unless a specific processing or delivery timeframe is clearly stated.
If a listing provides a processing time, I will make reasonable efforts to ship within that stated timeframe.
If an unexpected delay occurs, I may contact you with an updated timeframe or available options.
The Magickal Appalachian is not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs, weather, incorrect addresses, carrier issues, holidays, natural events, or circumstances beyond my control.
Once an order has shipped, responsibility for delivery time and handling transfers to the carrier.
Tracking information may be provided when available.
Please verify your shipping address before submitting your order. I am not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, refusal, failure to pick up, or carrier issue, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping costs.
15. Heat, Weather & Natural Product Notice
Some products, including candles, oils, wax goods, herbs, natural materials, and handmade items, may be affected by heat, cold, humidity, or weather conditions during shipping.
I take reasonable care in packaging orders, but I cannot control weather or carrier handling once a package leaves my hands.
Please bring packages inside promptly after delivery, especially during hot or freezing weather.
Minor cosmetic changes caused by temperature, settling, natural variation, or handmade production do not necessarily make an item defective.
16. Handmade & Natural Variation
Many items from The Magickal Appalachian are handmade, hand-poured, hand-labeled, hand-foraged, spiritually prepared, or made with natural materials.
Small variations in color, size, scent, texture, shape, weight, appearance, herb placement, wax finish, oil color, label placement, or natural markings are normal and part of the nature of handmade spiritual goods.
These variations are not considered defects.
17. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, product descriptions, service descriptions, branding, logos, original names, formulations, rituals, graphics, digital products, books, articles, and educational materials, is the intellectual property of The Magickal Appalachian unless otherwise stated.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, republished, redistributed, resold, taught from, modified, uploaded, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.
Purchasing a digital product, book, consultation, reading, or service does not grant ownership of the intellectual property contained within it.
18. Privacy & Email Communication
Customer information is used only as needed to process orders, provide services, deliver digital products, schedule appointments, communicate about purchases, and handle customer support.
The Magickal Appalachian does not sell customer personal information.
I do not send unsolicited marketing emails.
Your email address will not be added to a newsletter, mailing list, promotional campaign, or sales funnel without your clear consent.
You may receive emails related to your order, booking, service, download, appointment reminder, shipping update, customer support request, or other direct transaction with The Magickal Appalachian.
Personal information may be shared only as necessary to complete transactions, process payments, provide shipping, operate the website, schedule appointments, or comply with legal obligations.

Abusive, threatening, manipulative, or disrespectful communication may result in refusal of service, cancellation, or being blocked from future purchases.

These third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, processing times, fees, or technical requirements.
